All visits include a comprehensive feeding history, physical exam of the infant, lactation specific breast exam (as applicable), and personalized feeding plan based on family's goals and infant's abilities.
Physical exam is modified for older children based on family's feeding needs.
Tongue tie, etc
- Evaluate oral function
- For breast or non-breast fed babies
- Identify and diagnose oral ties
- Release of ties (frenotomy/frenectomy) with CO2 Laser
- Traditional scissor release of tongue tie also available
- Customized stretches and exercises to improve latch/feeding
Newborn Care
One-on-one sessions with you and your baby to learn about general baby care, soothing techniques, answer questions, and teach how to care for your new bundle of joy...since babies don't come with a manual and everyone of them is wonderfully unique.
Ideal for first time parents, parents that need a refresher, or anybody that would like to increase the number of tools in their toolbox for caring and soothing their baby.
Fees
Sara is not currently contracted with any insurance providers and does not bill insurance, however does provide a super-bill, which is a formal receipt of services, that may be submitted to insurance by the patient/family for possible reimbursement if they choose to.

Oral Ties
Evaluation and explanation of findings (~30 min)
- $70
- if frenotomy/frenectomy is recommended and done within the recommended time frame, fee for evaluation is deducted from the cost of the procedure
- If breastfeeding and not currently working with another lactation consultant, Sara would recommend a lactation consultation as the initial visit to be able to fully assess the feeding dynamic
Laser Frenectomy
- one area-$400
- two or more areas-$565
- includes personalized aftercare and feeding assistance afterwards
Scissor frenotomy (tongue tie only)
- $300

Newborn Care
